A.J.'s Life Coaching Clients Testimonials

I had tried a few other life coaches before finding A.J. Mahari. I am sure that each has their own place and may well be suited to work with some and not others. That said, I feel so lucky to have had two negative experiences with other life coaches first. I didn't enjoy the money it cost me but to then come to try to trust life coaching once more and to find and work with A.J. Mahari and receive the compassion, support, dare I say, human love, of this powerful, motivating, and incredibly giving wise woman, well, I feel so blessed to have crossed paths with you and to have shared the time together that we worked together. Those six months were the most enlightening six months of my life. From the bottom of my heart, A.J., thank you. -- Sidney Vanek

Thank you so much A.J. for the very wise, compassionate, supportive, and patient way you were there for me as my life coach. I am amazed at the wisdom that you truly have. I have been to countless therapists, talked to ministers, and others and not one single other person helped me the way that you did. I will be forever so grateful. As someone who has had a series of unhealthy relationships with personality disordered women, you were such a guiding light as I worked my way through to the understanding and learning of the lessons I so needed to take in. There are just aren't enough words to express my respect for you and my gratitude. You are one very brave and giving woman. The way that you have taken your own pain and troubled past and created the body of work you have online plus your very skilled life coaching to help others is very admirable. Please know you have played such an important role in my life. - David J.

A.J. it was a pleasure to work with you. Even though it was one of the most painful times of my life I was so lucky to have someone like you to be there with me and for me in what was one of the darkest periods of my life. You are such a inspiration. You were so compassionate, patient, and giving. I hope you know how much you helped me to change my life. Thanks so much. - Suzie M.

A.J., I feel like a student in the movie "To Sir With Love" - you know, like "how can you thank someone who has taken you from crayons to perfume" etc? I don't really think I know. I feel lost for words. Your flexible and unflappable personable and down-to-earth style of life coaching was just everything I needed these last 11 months. The way you just flow with whatever comes up was amazing to me. It was like try as I think I did to irk you, you just kept calm and never lost patience. You were the first to ever show me that kind of love A.J. - that kind of compassion and dedication. You worked tirelessly with and for me and I want you to know how much I appreciate that. Being someone with BPD, trust was hard and I am sorry now at how much I tried to test you. But test as I did, you passed each test with flying colors. Even when I thought you were abandoning me and rejecting me when I'd get triggered by your patient, kind words, boundary-setting words that I didn't want to hear or respect, A.J., you taught me so much. Your unfaltering gentleness motivated me to work harder to stop testing you and I came to find that my trust was well-placed in you. You are a very brilliant woman, I hope you know that. It shows through in your ebooks, articles, audios and videos but it is even more palpable when we shared those life coaching sessions. You were the teacher who saw more readiness and ability in this student than this student ever believed in until I worked with you as my life coach. You did take me from "crayones to perfume" For that I thank you. I thank you more than I think you can ever know. I also love how humble you are when complimented. Hope this one doesn't embarass you. Thanks so much for everything A.J. - I am a changed person. I am a longs ways down the road to recovery from BPD now and I know that I will get there and when I do know that you were crucial in that. I couldn't be where I am today without you. Namaste A.J. :) -- J.B.

As someone with Borderline Personality Disorder you continue to inspire me greatly. I am so grateful to you for helping me to help myself. As we continue to work on things together and as I continue to see my therapist, even my therapist is surprised at the progress I"ve made since working with you as my life coach. A.J., you have an amazing gift to help others. You are helping me in so many ways. It's so hard to put into words. I just wanted to share with you that you are making a difference in my life. I would highly recommend you as a life coach for anyone with BPD who is motivated to get well. -- Denise Marleau

I am an adult with Asperger's Syndrome. I was sort of pushed by my mother to talk to A.J. and to work with her as my life coach. I was convinced there was no reason to and nothing to gain. A.J. really woke me up to things that I know I would not have thought about on my own. A.J., as a life coach for those with Asperger's has a very unique way of supporting and listening without judging and of, for lack of a better way to put it, helping Aspies to take the lemon part of Asperger's and make our own unique type of lemonade. Thanks so much A.J. and I am grateful for your continued support. -- Peter Ralph.

I contacted A.J. and set up some life coaching sessions with her to talk about my inability to make my life work. I had not idea really why I was so stuck. With A.J.'s skillful way of asking loving and motivating questions the picture has become a lot clearer. We are still working together on my meeting the goals that I have now identified for myself in my life with A.J.'s compassionate and patient assistance. You are such a skilled listener A.J. and a patient non-judgmental life coach and that means the world to me. - Mandy Drummond

I know that you would say I did it, A.J., but I really feel like you saved my life. I was in a relationship with a borderline woman. It was the result of an affair. I struggled so much to know what to do. I was torn between this BPD woman and her compelling need for me and my wife. You not only listened to me but you didn't judge me at all and that was such a relief and needed gift. I wasn't exactly walking the moral high ground but you showed me love and compassion and understanding and helped me to find my own way. You empowered me to want to learn, A.J., even when it meant facing some of my own pain. I am so grateful to you for that. -- Dennis B.

As a client of A.J. Mahari's I want to tell everyone what a wonderful, intelligent, powerful, and dedicated life coach she really is. A.J. is a motivating force. She is a great listener and oh, the questions she can ask - questions that when you think about them can and will change your life. I have benefitted greatly from working with A.J. as my life coach and I continue to. I would recommend her highly to anyone seeking support, and a skilled life coach to help you identify and achieve your goals. -- Murphy

I am, among other things, a sexual abuse survivor. When I started working with A.J. as my life coach because I was stuck in so much of the baggage of my past abuse, still, I had no idea how much I could learn or that she could and would help me to identify goals that through some exploration together I am beginning to meet for the first time in my life - something I've wanted for but been unable to do on my own, for years. Thank you A.J. so much and I am glad that I found you and that we are still working together. You are so compassionate, so understanding, so non-judgmental and you have such broad life experience with pain and suffering that you truly do understand others in ways that take my breath away. You are awesome! I would totally recommend you to others who are considering working with a life coach. You are just so smart :) -- Janice

I have been very overweight all of my life and I have hated myself for that. Others have hated me for that. My life experience seems to have all been so negative. All of that changed when I started working with A.J. Mahari as my life coach. I have some medical problems and it's unlikely I'll be thin anytime soon, let alone anytime at all. I am still fat, but by God I feel so much better about myself. I can't believe what an awesome, powerhouse of positive A.J. Mahari really is. What you read on line and what you hear in audio or read in her ebooks or watch in her videos, is all fantastic, but to work one on one with her is ten times what you can get out of all of other wonderful work. A.J.- thanks for helping me to learn how to love and accept myself for who I am and who I am in total. You are such a giving, loving woman and a skilled life coach. -- Amanda C.

A.J., you are such an amazingly brilliant woman! You are an amazing life coach too. I really don't think I could have made it through my marriage break-up - having to leave my borderline husband, if it hadn't been for your kind and patient support. I would highly recommend your life coaching services to anyone out there dealing with someone in their life with BPD. You know BPD inside out like no one else I've ever read, or spoken to - and that includes the professionals I had some therapy with. Thanks so much for all of your compassion, care, and support. - Mindy Williamson

Dear A.J., I can't thank you enough for all of your patience. I am so grateful for the wonderful course you have designed and I am taking for those of us who are non borderlines and have left a relationship. When my relationship ended it was truly one of the most devastating times in my life. I was so lost. I felt so alone. No one in my family or circle of friends seemed to understand what my borderline wife - ex now - had really been like or what I had been through. Her disortion campaign against me was unbelievable and yet so many people still believe her and I was made out to be some abusive monster. I had never abused her - not even once. As trying as it all was I didn't even yell at her - not even when she had the affairs. Thank God the courts saw through that and that I have custody of our two little girls. Mind you, as you know, my ex really didn't want the kids. She tried to take them just so I wouldn't have them but she is no mother. Anyway, A.J., I just wanted to thank you so much for all of your compassion and support. I am looking forward to our next session and making sure I get my homework done. I have learned the value of the homework in the process of healing and identifying what my goals are now and in our work together to use the strategy and structure you provide to help me to achieve those goals. A.J. you believed in me when it felt like no one else did. I can't say thank you enough. Oh, and I'd like to add, please know you can add this to your testimonials page because I would hope that anyone else out there who is going through a relationship breakup with a person with BPD would find you and avail themselves of your life coaching services. You have a unique way of being patient, yet holding to your boundaries, and still ensuring that you make how much you care very clear. You put your own past pain, A.J. to so much positive and giving use. May God continue to bless you and your very important work. -- Danny Y.

When I first found A.J. Mahari's life coaching, it was after I had read 3 of her ebooks and listened to 5 of her audio programs. I wondered if anyone could really know that much, for real. From the beginning of my very first life coaching session with A.J. it was clear to me she didn't just spout of stuff in what she writes or talks about in her audio programs. This woman knows what she is talking about. She has so much life experience. She has healed so much in her own life. She has been life coaching for six years. A.J. so respects people's processes. I was so touched that she did not judge me - not one time, not even one litte bit and I am a man who has had several affairs and behaved in ways I'd rather not go into detail about. But in going into that detail with A.J. she was right there with me, caring, not judging, supporting and understanding that so much of what I had destructively done in my life has its roots in pain that I hadn't been able to fully face. A.J. Mahari helped me to face that pain along with the support of my psychologist. A.J. you continue to amaze me. Your giftedness for understanding and your skill for listening, understanding, mirroring, and supportively asking questions from a place of compassion and love moved me so many time and as we continue to work together, continues to move me, humble me and teach me. You are such a spirited human being, A.J. and I feel so fortunate to have found you and to have you as my life coach. -- G.H.
